ESDP ON DTP, MS OFFICE AND BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING
AT WALKER TOWN, NELLORE FROM 26-05-2008 TO 07-07-2008

Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programme (ESDP) on DTP, MS Office and Basic Computer Training was conducted at Walkers Town, Nellore from 26-05-2008 to 07-07-2008.  The programme was inaugurated on 26th morning in the presence of: Asst. Director from APPC, Officers from DIC, Project Officer of APPC, Sri Ramakrishna - Proprietor of Ramakrishna Shield Works, Sri Venkatesh Prasad - Secretary of NGOs Organisation.

The main faculty members - Sri Ramakrishna, Mr. Venkatesh Prasad, Mr.Anand, Mr.Jameer Basha, Mr.Jeelani - were associated in teaching various topics on Introduction of Computers, theory and practicals on DTP and Pre-Press Technology, DTP Software Packages, Microsoft Windows, Adobe PageMaker, Creating Documents, Layouts / Margins / Selections, Fonts, Importing Pictures from other packages, inserting into documents, Book Composing / Publishing Alignment, Art Work, Photo Positive and Color Picture, Multi Color Designing, Logos Designing, Multiple effects etc.

Officers from Nationalised Banks, DIC, APPC, Lecturers from Colleges, Consultants, Chartered Accountants were associated for delivering lectures on various topics like Managerial Aspects, Communication Skills, Motivational Aspects, Financial Schemes from Bankers and Maintenance of Accounts and Book Keeping, Marketing Management, Preparation of Project Reports etc.

The Training Programme was attended by 24 male and female candidates.  The break up of the candidates is as follows: General - 5; OBC - 17; Minority - 2; (9 women candidates attended).

The Training Programme was reviewed by Sri N.T.Naidu, Deputy Director (Mech) of MSME-DI Hyderabad and delivered lectures on various aspects.

The Valedictory Function was conducted at DRDA Conference Hall.  Director, MSME-DI Hyderabad and President, Chambers of Commerce & Industry distributed Certificates to the successful candidates.  General Manager, DIC, LDM, Branch Manager-APSFC, Asst. General Manager - NABARD, Dy.Director (Mech), Asst. Director-APPC, Industrties Association representatives and other Government officials were also present on the occasion.

The programme was coordinated and organised by Sri V.Sridhar Reddy, Asst. Director (G&C), MSME-DI Hyderabad - the Nodal Officer for Nellore District.
