INDUSTRIAL MOTIVATION CAMPAIGN (IMC) AT NAGASANIPALLE VILLAGE, BANTAVARAM MANDALAM, VIKARABAD, RANGA REDDY DISTRICT CONDUCTED
ON 3rd NOVEMBER, 2008

 

An Industrial Motivation Campaign (IMC) has been conducted on 3rd November, 2008 at Nagasanipalle Village, Bantavaram Mandalam, Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy District.

 

The Officers of MSME-DI Hyderabad, in association with Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi, Hyderabad, identified the above Village which is 120 Kms. Away from Hyderabad. 

 

Welcome address was given by Sri P.Shyam Sundaram, a member of Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi, Hyderabad.  Sri A.K.Reddy, Asst. Director (G&C) explained various activities of the Institute and also various programmes that were conducted at Guntur District.  Sri A.Suresh, Asst. Director(Mech) explained in detail trainings to be conducted in villages such as tailoring, embroidering, fabric painting, simple chemicals, food products etc.  Sri N.T.Naidu, Deputy Director (Mech) motivated them by narrating various examples and importance of women empowerment to avoid migration of youth to urban areas.  He also explained that villages are backbone in this country since 80% population in villages are feeding various items like vegetables, food raw materials and milk etc. to the urban areas.

 

He explained value addition of the items with examples such as pickles, sauce, jam can be processed from tomato to add good value addition.  He also suggested for spice grinding like turmeric powder, chilly powder etc. since village is cultivating these crops.  Sri P.V.Sridhar, Director, Prakriti Environmental Society (NG), Balanagar informed that they are imparting training in the areas of tailoring, embroidery, fabric and also one girl by name Sattamma is presently undergoing training from this village with free lodging and board facilities.

 

 

 

45 women candidates attended the programme.
