INDUSTRIAL MOTIVATION CAMPAIGN AT MAHABUBNAGAR |

MSME-Development
Institute, Hyderabad conducted One-Day Industrial Motivation
Campaign on 17-06-08 in the Meeting Hall, MPDO’s Office,
Mahabubnagar. The main objective of the campaign was to motivate
the educated unemployed youth to set up self-employment ventures in
different fields under Micro & Small Enterprises and to select
candidates for the ESDP on “Embroidery & Surface Ornamentation”
commencing from 18-06-08 at Mahabubnagar. |

144 Nos. of
unemployed youth participated in the campaign (Women = SC: 12, BC:
115, OC : 15 & Men = BC:02) from Mahabubnagar and nearby villages.
The campaign was attended by Sri V.Suresh, AGM, NABARD, Dr P. Rama
Brahmam, LDM/Chief Manager, SBI, Sri K.Soma Sekhar Reddy,
Dy.Director of Industries, DIC, Mahabubnagar, Sri K.C.Choudhury,
Asst. Director (L&F), MSME-DI, Hyderabad, Sri P.R.Prasad, Economic
Investigator, KVIC, Hyderabad, Sri G.Srinivas, IPO, DIC and Sri
T.Madan, MPDO, Mahabubnagar. The campaign was also attended by Smt.
K. Laxmamma, President , Mandal Parishad, Mahabubnagar. |

The
welcome address was given by Sri K.C.Choudhury, Asst.Director (L&F)
followed by the addresses given by the other dignitaries who
explained about their activities & schemes and motivated the
participants for self-employment to earn their livelihood. Smt.
K.Laxmamma, President, Mandal Parishad congratulated MSME-DI,
Hyderabad for conducting the campaign for the benefit of the
unemployed youth of that area. She urged the participants to set up
self-employment ventures to make them self dependent. She further
advised them to take the advantage of the various training
programmes being conducted by MSME-DI, Hyderabad in the Mahabubnagar
District. The Forenoon programme was concluded with vote of thanks
by Sri K.C.Choudhury, Asst. Director (L&F), MSME-DI, Hyderabad. |

The afternoon
sessions was dedicated for identification/selection of suitable
candidates for the ensuing ESDP on “Embroidery & Surface
Ornamentation” commencing from 18-06-08 at State Home, Hyderabad.
25 Nos of women candidates were selected through personal
interviews and registered for the programme. The programme was
coordinated by Sri K.C.Choudhury, Asst.Director (L&F), MSME-DI,
Hyderabad. |
