INDUSTRIAL MOTIVATION CAMPAIGN HELD ON 17-06-2008 AT GUNTUR

One day Industrial Motivation Campaign was organised on 17th June 2008 in the Conference Hall of Jan Sikshan Samsthan, Lakshmipuram, Guntur.  The programme was inaugurated by Sri Narendra Nath, Chairman, Nagarjuna Education Society, Guntur.  In his inaugural address Sri Narendra Nath has stressed the need for self employment for women and advised the participants to take advantage of various Government schemes to start their own enterprises. 

Sri N.T. Naidu, Deputy Director (Mech), MSME-DI, Hyderabad has presided over the programme and in his address he has explained various schemes and services offered by different Government agencies of State and Central Governments for promotion of women entrepreneurs. 

Total 76 participants have attended the IMC with the break up of 12 SC, 8 ST, 6 Minorities and in overall 63 women.

The topics covered during the programme were entrepreneurial motivation, need for self employment, various schemes and services offered by SC, ST, BC Corporations, District Industries Centre (DIC) and also the schemes exclusively operated by financial institutions for the above categories.

Official representatives/Officers from KVIB, DIC, SC/ST/BC Corporations, Banks and successful entrepreneurs have attended and delivered lectures during the campaign.  An interaction with the successful women entrepreneurs was also arranged to give motivation to the upcoming and the enthusiastic women entrepreneurs / participants.

The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by the coordinator of the programme Sri A.K.Reddy, Asst.Director (G&C), MSME-DI Hyderabad, who is also the Nodal Officer for Guntur District.
