Objective of the Programme:

The main objective of the programme was to provide training to the educated unemployed women to develop skills and to motivate the participants to set up self employment in the field of Fabric Painting and Embroidery.

Subject items taught:

The trainees were exposed to intense practice on drawing of pring, printing of paints, knot stitching, kada stitching, net stretching, patches stretching, stroke painting, single and double shades painting, kundans work, free hand work, patch work painting, thread painting and embroidery.

In addition to the technical aspects, entrepreneurial exposure was given through theoretical lectures in the areas of qualities of an entrepreneur, step by step approach to set up an industry, market survey, project report preparation and DIC activities.
