ESDP on Tie & Dye at Bhongiri, Nalgonda District from 30-05-2008 to 11-07-2008

 

ESDP on Tie & Dye, has been organised from 30-05-2008 to 11-07-2008 at Bhongiri, Nalgonda District for educated unemployed youth.  A total of 25 women including 20-General, 4-OBC, 1-SC have participated.

 

The programme was inaugurated by Sri Tangalapally Ravi Kumar, District Planning Committee Member, Bhongiri, Nalgonda District.  During his inaugural address, he congratulated the participants for having joined the programme and requested the participants to take full advantage of this training.  He also congratulated the officials of MSME-DI, Hyderabad for conducting this kind of programme at Bhongiri.  The Course Coordinator, Sri K.N.L.Murthy, Asst. Director (Met) had explained about the Six Weeks Training Programme schedule and course coverage to the participants and requested them to have active participation and lively interaction with the Faculty to get maximum information and get acquainted with sufficient skills in the Tie & Dye and Fabric Painting.

 

 

During the training programme, the main thrust was to cover the Theory and Practicals to provide technical skills like Environmental Filling, Outline Sketches, Shading of Colours, Wet-on-wet, Single Stroke Sketches, Double Stroke Sketches, Water Colours, Bird Sketches, Animal Sketches and Painting on sarees in Fabric Painting.  The Tie & Dye theory and practical topics covered were Environmental Nots, Folds, Different  types of Processes, Nefithal, VAT, Sulfar, Feroz and Bethic.  During the training, the participants prepared a variety of products like Bed Sheets, Sarees, Dress Materials, Pillow Covers, Central Table Covers, TV Covers, Hand Kerchiefs, Door Curtains etc. by using the processes of Tie & Dye and Fabric Painting.

Management topics like Qualities of Entrepreneur, Characteristics of Entrepreneur, Product Selection, Step by Step Approach for setting up of units have also been covered.

 
Rendered Project Guidance and explained about the role and activities of MSME-DI.
Provided Guidance on Marketing Management and Market Survey by the expert faculty .
The officials from DIC, Nalgonda have explained about the role and activities of DIC.
 

Sri M.Sreenivasulu, Dy.Director (IMT) also visited the training programme and addressed the participants.  He explained about the marketing tips and project guidance and he assured the trainees that the office of MSME-DI Hyderabad will extend all co-operation and guidance in future after completion of the training programme.

on Tie & Dye organised on 11-07-2008.

 

The training programme was concluded on 11-07-2008 and the Valedictory Function was conducted under the Chairmanship of Smt. D.Vanitha, Municipal Chairperson, Bhongiri Municipality.  During her Valedictory Address, she congratulated the participants for their efforts for having put in to undergo the training programme and commended them for making the value added fabric products that were displayed in the Valedictory Function.  She also suggested the trainees to set up their own small ventures to come up in their enterprising career for which she expressed her all kinds of support to them.

The products prepared by the trainees during the training period were displayed in the Valedictory Function. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The trainees were awarded with Mementos by the Chief Guest for excellence of the work and their efforts in making the products.  Some of the participants have already selected their line of activity to go for self-employment ventures.

 

The Valedictory Function was ended with Vote of Thanks by Sri K.L.N.Murthy, Asst. Director (Met).
