6 Weeks ESDP on  'FASHION DESIGNING' held at VIZIANAGARAM
from 30-06-08 to 08-08-08

Branch MSME-Development Institute, Visakhapatnam has organised a six-week ESDP on 'Fashion Designing' at Plot No:82, MSN Colony, Ring Road, Vizianagaram from 30-06-08 to 08-08-08. 

Sri VRVR Naik, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Vizianagaram was the Chief Guest and Smt. P.Madhavi, Fashion Designer from Vizianagaram was the Guest of Honour in the Inaugural Function. All dignitaries had addressed the gathering on various aspects of development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and scope for Fashion Designing.

The participants were exposed to various aspects viz. Entrepreneurship Motivation, Achievement Planning.  Communication Skills, How-to-Start own Enterprise, Project Report Preparation etc., in addition to Fashion Designing topics such as Embroidery, Garments Construction, Color Wheel, Tie & Dye, Designing of Sarees etc.  All the lectures were delivered by the expert faculty drawn from the industry, releted Institutions and other Developmental Agencies.  A field visit has been made to visit M/s.Padma Arts and TTDC, Vizianagaram.

Upon successful completion of the training programme, a Valedictory Function was held on 08-08-08 at the Lecture Hall of Technology cum Training Development Centre,  DRDA, Vizianagaram.  Sri S.Satish Kumar, Branch Manager, SBI-Port Branch, Vizianagaram has attended as Chief Guest.  Sri VRVR Naik, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Vizianagaram has presided over the Valedictory Function.  Certificates were distributed to all the participants by the Chief Guest.

The programme has been coordinated by Sri G.Raghuram, Assistant Director (IMT),  Branch MSME-DI, Visakhapatnam, who is also the Nodal Officer for Vizianagaram District.
